I Am A Nomad

Suddenly at era's end
I want to leave again
Attachments made evaporate
In memories I breathe
Pieces left will cycle round
To stay will let them in

You swept this way, but fear was strong
A-void to become like you
See what I want, cannot hold on
In closeness an image of self
Clearly
I must go

Maybe I disappear
Maybe I float
On the water
In a little white boat
Made of paper
Getting wet
To the horizon
An orange sunset
And the wind blowing gently
"Who am I yet?"

I am not a reference
Consider a cascade of pieces
I am a starlight dreamer
Consider reality scattering
I am a nomad
A runner
An ear for flutter
Of wings to free from coast
Roaming in search of mankind's treasures
Belonging nowhere
But the future
To find you at home
